Yin energy is often perceived as a nuisance that ‘gets in the way’ of being our ‘best’ selves. Instead of yielding and surrendering, we recruit even more yang and try to ‘power through’ it and push. But what's important is that all of us, male / female / inbetween, have both yin-yang energies in us and their balance is at the core of our wellbeing. : In particular, for women, a constant yang-focused lifestyle leads to imbalances that manifest in both physical and psychological dimensions. Instead of ‘powering through’ our hormones, what if there were a way to work synergistically with our menstrual cycles? Instead of being ‘disadvantaged’ by yin, what if we could celebrate and amplify it? : Excited to write more about female hormone health and how to start flowing with our infradian rhythms! : illustration by @danica.gim 🖤 : #yinyang #infradianrhythm #음과양 #femalehormones #womancode #floliving #moon #yoga #innerpeace A post shared by AMI (@amismusings) on Aug 14, 2020 at 8:19am PDT Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...
